Dr. Richard Asaba Bagonza is an Environmental Social Scientist with a PhD in Sociology (specialising in gender and development) from Maynooth University. He has over thirteen years’ experience in quantitative, qualitative and transdisciplinary research on aspects such as access to water and its governance, agriculture, climate change, disaster risk reduction, education, health and gender and development in general.Richard currently lectures in the School of Women and Gender Studies and in the Department of Environmental Management at Makerere University, Kampala.
